A Bible study initially set up for alumni of the Senior Sunday School Class at the First United Methodist Church of Lufkin, Texas. It is our hope and our prayer that this study touches the hearts of those who participate and helps spread the love and grace of Our Lord and God. All who want to learn more about God are welcome

Ruth - The Overview

Relax, Read and Reflect
Prayer- Lord, Open our hearts and open our minds and help us learn. Go-Fight-Win. Amen

No reading of scripture today! This is a day of preparation. We will start on the Book of Ruth Monday. Ruth is in the Old Testament between Judges and the Samuel Saga. It is very short, and very easy to read.
Ruth deals with faithfulness, kindness, and integrity. It is a love story and the only book in the main Bible to be named for a girl. Prepare emotionally as well as spiritually, physically as well as mentally.

Prayer- Lord, Help us all prepare. Help us see you in all our activities and protect us. Go-Fight-Win. Amen
