Romans 3:21-26

Relax, Read and Reflect
Prayer- Lord, Open our hearts and open our minds and help us learn. Go-Fight-Win. Amen.
Righteousness Through Faith
21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[
a] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Footnotes:
Romans 3:25 Or as the one who would turn aside his wrath, taking away sin
Paul has been giving out the hard facts about sin. Now he turns to the good news; by faith in Jesus Christ we are saved from our sins. Not Faith in the church, not faith in the Law,(both God’s and Human.) Our righteousness comes from our faith in Christ and in Christ alone.
Re-read verse 23, it is a familiar one. "For we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We all sin, we all make mistakes, we are all human, but we are all saved by Gods grace-if we accept it. So how do we accept this gift? Through faith, and faith alone.
Prayer- Lord, Thank you! Thank you for Your grace and thank you for the gift of Your son and our Savior- Jesus Christ. Go-Fight-Win. Amen.
