A Bible study initially set up for alumni of the Senior Sunday School Class at the First United Methodist Church of Lufkin, Texas. It is our hope and our prayer that this study touches the hearts of those who participate and helps spread the love and grace of Our Lord and God. All who want to learn more about God are welcome

Matthew 5:23-24

Relax, Read and Reflect.
Prayer- Lord, Open our hearts and open our minds and help us learn. Go-Fight-Win. Amen.
23"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
Anger is a powerful feeling. Anger can be very destructive to the body and soul, and of course Christ knows this. Yesterdays verses said that even if we just feel the anger and don’t act on it, we are still held accountable for the sixth commandment of Moses.
Jesus gets a little deeper. If you have anger in your heart with another, that anger will come between you and God. If you want to have a relationship with your Father, clear up bad feelings with your brother. That is so revolutionary, but so simple.
Prayer- Lord, Help us all love one another. Go-Fight-Win. Amen.
Viva Jesus!
